The term Xeriscape stands for a design philosophy that helps you to create a beautiful eco-friendly, healthy atmosphere. It was created by Denver Water in 1981 and is a new and comprehensive approach to water storage.

The process consists of seven principles that work together to create a well-functioning, integrated Gardening and landscaping to accomplish.

If you live in a drought-endangered area, or are simply interested in living a carefree life in the countryside, consider using this method.

The seven Xeriscape principles




1. Create a comprehensive living plan

Start with a well-designed design that takes into account the specifics of your landscape and lifestyle. This includes the nature of the earth, the sun and shadow spots. Continue to analyze the terrain (including the water system), the prospects and the existing plants. All of these should be noted and specially treated. It is equally important to better understand their own benefits and to decide how best to use the area. Food and entertainment, play areas, food production, privacy and so on can always be included in the design process.
