Remove the weeds
Yes, that may not be a pleasant task, but you may know – some weeds are much more difficult to remove than others – the lion tooth and some species of the taproot family. To facilitate this activity, sprinkle the area around the weeds or remove it after a rain shower when the ground is softer.
Put a knife or screwdriver next to the deep roots to loosen them before plucking them.
Pour boiling water on it
You can still use the remaining water in the saucepan, where you cooked the potatoes or the pasta. This will make even the hardest weeds wrinkle in a few days.
Suffocate the weeds
Cover the low-growing weeds such as clover and crab with several newspaper pages and the lack of sunlight will destroy them.
Cover with inexpensive rock salt at the end of winter and sprinkle the garden paths in spring to destroy the weeds. (Cooking salt can also be used). The salt still serves as a border between the bed edges and other places where the lawn mower can not suffice.
Amongst your plants in the garden, there is competition for the nutrients because only the strongest can survive and thrive. Grow land cover, flowers and crops that will hammer the weeds in a natural way. Plant your lawn according to the same principle. Maintain a dense, healthy lawn and almost no weeds will thrive there.
Pour vinegar on the weed
In a few days, the weeds will be completely destroyed. These methods can be applied to weeds with long taproots such as dandelion, sorrel and plantain
Eat the weeds
Much of the weed is edible – dandelion, sorrel and endive, which you can even eat raw in a salad, for example.
